Frequently Asked Questions:

Physiotherapists can diagnose physical injuries and treat related symptoms such as swelling (inflammation), pain, and lack of motion. A physiotherapist’s services often focus on injury prevention by relieving existing symptoms to prevent future discomfort. Once these symptoms have lessened, kinesiologists provide sessions focused on active rehabilitation to build someone’s endurance, strength, and flexibility.

After first speaking to your doctor about your injury, most people see physiotherapists for 4-6 weeks or until their swelling (inflammation) has lessened. People often see a kinesiologist around 6-8 weeks after an accident to continue working on their rehab goals. People usually see the best results the sooner they start kinesiotherapy.

We recommend two to three visits per week to ensure the best results. We understand that people are busy and always do our best to develop a schedule that fits your life.

Most people spend 4 to 8 weeks in our programs, but the exact length will vary on how extensive your injuries are.

Since related fees are 100% covered by ICBC, you will not need to pay anything out of pocket.
